I personally like that students are given a lot more dimensions for creative expression in their designs - for example, use of 3D printed structure, sourcing structure from different vendors, and constraints being functional vs vendor dependent.

What I like about pinnacle at a first glance is 3d printing. I also think that the infinite vertical expansion will be pretty cool too. I can’t wait to start competing!
When I first read throughout the manual, I was very excited about the 99W limit as this means more options on motor based subsystems instead of teams immediately resorting to pneumatic based subsystems. (I tend to do this a-lot, I had 6 cylinders on my pb bot) I also like the sound of 7 motor drive.
