Oh wow that pretty cool!
I like the use of negative space for the piece in the A. Think the team number 3685 should be much more prominent, heavier type face. The background chess pieces is a little muddle/blurry, some what distracting, and likely harder to print on t-shirts. Instead, consider using a single chess piece, perhaps the king, on its side and use that horizontal space for the team number.
Overall, a nice concept.
