Is the new CoDroneEDU Pro going to be legal to use for the 26-27 ADC season, if so would it only be used in the teamwork mission or in all three missions(pilot, autonomous, teamwork)?
At the ITSE conference in July 2026, Robolink announced publicly they’ve been working on a new drone, the CoDrone EDU Plus.
Robolink is currently in final production and testing phase of this drone. They anticipate the drone will be open to pre orders this back to school season, and start shipping this school year.
Once the drone is available, it will be legal for the Aerial Drone Competition and ADC Pro.
There are no plans to retire to CoDrone EDU and this drone will continue to be legal for both competitions.

August 11, 2026 Update:
The RECF had intended to introduce the CoDrone EDU Plus for use in Aerial Drone Competition (ADC) events and ADC Pro during the 2026–2027 season. After carefully considering community feedback and Robolink’s current production timeline, we have decided to postpone its introduction to official competition for this season.
During the 2026–2027 season, we will use the opportunity to evaluate the CoDrone EDU Plus in non-competition applications and continue gathering insights to support its future integration into the Drone Competition programs.
