V5 GPS strips/marking on field perimeters

I have asked on Q&A if GPS strips/markings are required to be present on perimeters at events as V5 GPS sensor is “optional” …

Same question for V5 AI - are April Tags needed on all/some/none of field elements for the game.

These are of concern to teams and EPs who will be drawing from different sources and impacting teams at competitions this season.

My gut is to be as nimble as possible.

What are your thoughts?

I definitely think that making the field perimeters different and not having those gps strips will make it more difficult to have precise autos. It definitely will make teams work harder and have more tuning to do at each comp.
